Man makes daily model railway show inside Waikato’s managed isolation facility

A train enthusiast, holed up in a Hamilton isolation facility, has put his creative talents on show by creating a miniature train set out of tissue boxes, food bags and pillows to entertain the masses. Graeme Carter, who flew into New Zealand from Sydney with his wife over two weeks ago, was held up in Hamilton’s Distinction Hotel as part of New Zealand’s mandatory 14 day isolation period.
